What is the training and vetting procedure?
ANSWER:
All staff have to be SITO trained and SIA licenced and holder of an SIA badge prior to working for Goodguard Services Ltd. Following their initial interview, a full background check is obtained, with a full work history/reference check to BS7858 standards.
Q2.
Types of insurances that we hold?
ANSWER:
Goodguard Services hold fully comprehensive insurance for £5m, Public Liability and £ 10m Employer’s Liability, also insurance for loss of keys, wrongful arrest etc.

Do we need a Contract?
ANSWER:
We do not utilise contracts unless expressly requested by the Client. We believe the quality of our service speaks for itself without tying you down to a contract. Several clients have been with us for many years, both with and without contracts.

In what area’s do you cover?
ANSWER:
We cover the West Midlands, East Midlands and Staffordshire.

How are the staff monitored?
ANSWER:
On taking on any new Client, the site is assessed for specific risks and areas of vulnerability. We then install RFID clocking tags around the site to ensure that these areas are regularly patrolled. The Security Guard would swipe each tag with the designated patrol recorder during each and every patrol. The report details the date, time and every clock point visited throughout our security presence on site. Copies of these reports are forwarded to our Clients on a regular basis.

Also, all staff are required to log both on and off site using the designated on-site phone, then a minimum of hourly welfare check calls to our 24 hour Control Room to ensure lone worker safety procedures.

Random checks are made on site by a member of management to ensure that all Assignment Instructions relative to the site are being carried out accordingly.

What does it cost?
ANSWER:
We would need to carry out a site survey to take into consideration the client’s needs and requirements. A report would be generated to assess any security breaches and how any risks to site security could be minimised. Our quote would be dependent on the variety of duties required by the Security Guard i.e. Gatehouse duties, staff monitoring etc.

Do you sub-contract your clients to other companies?
ANSWER:
We never sub-contract our work to other security companies. By supplying our customers direct we have full control of our Staff, Control Room and procedures. We can also ensure the correct insurances that are required for each client are in place.
